The phrase composed of six characters is from a poem by Tao Qian (365-427):
    «晉‧陶潛‧歸去來兮辭»:「悅親戚之情話,樂琴書以消憂。

The name of Cixian in the side inscription suggests the seal might have been carved by Zhao Zhichen (1781 - 1822), native of Qiantang of Zhejiang province, who is considered to be one of the famous eight Xiling seal carvers.
