  • About

Trevor Graham majored in photography at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne at the end of the 1970s prior to embarking on a prominent career as a documentary filmmaker. ‘Window 10 – Fannie Bay Hotel’ 1981 is part of a group of images Graham made while working as a photography lecturer at Darwin community college. Graham’s photograph explores the layers which make up the texture of an environment and landscape. Concurrent with developments in Australian photography of the time, it is both a critical and a poetic look at the juncture between nature and culture.
