About

Kempson was born at Kapunda, South Australia in 1961 and studied in Sydney, firstly at the City Art Institute/Alexander Mackie College from 1980-83, 1992-93 at the College of Fine Arts, 1986-2003 where he headed the printmaking department of Meadowbank TAFE. He now lectures in printmaking at UNSW COFA.
