About
"I like this image and I made a painting of it as well. It may look like a train form going up, but it is more to do with when you sit at airports looking at those big Boeing 747s rumbling along, thinking of this huge weight as they finally take off. It’s almost as if the bottom is scraping the ground as it lifts off. It’s about the force of the diagonal, the thrust of the diagonal across the rectangular. It's got wings, huge wings. It's a plane taking off, not looking like a plane, but it is …"
