About
"I was really at a stage where I was much more confident in the printing – the technical aspect didn’t worry me so much. I was on a bit of a roll. When I finished in Canberra I also became conscious of it coming to an end. In this print I tried to make it look like a stage set, with a curtain, a doorway or entrance – it's ambiguous. In a stage you have things hanging down or that come down onto the stage, there's some sort of main character, an arch prop, all very abstracted and non-specific – or simply three objects performing …"
