About
Adrian Villar Rojas often works with materials that decay or erode. Resembling ruins or objects excavated in an archaeological dig, his artworks appear to belong to the distant past. Unlike conventional sculptural materials, the mixture of cement and unfired clay in 'Untitled' is inherently, and intentionally, unstable. Fissures and cracks naturally develop in its surface, causing the sculpture’s appearance to alter over time.
