    Art centre documentation for this work states:
    “On this pot I have depicted my grandmother, grandfather and uncle. At this time they were living in humpy houses in the Tnyam-iparta (8 Mile Outstation) area. They have just returned to camp from collecting bush tomato in a rutja (coolamon), they would also use them for collecting bush tucker, water and to carry babies in. They would hunt goanna, kangaroo and collect witchetty grubs and bush bananas. They would go down to the nearby creek and fish.”
