About
“This pot is about the bushfires at Christmas time 2019. I felt really sad when I saw the people leaving their homes. The people were crying because they lost their homes, all their things and some lost worse, their friends and family. The animals were frightened, they could feel the fire coming and could see the trucks and people moving. Big grape farms burned; the farmers lost their crops. The fire fighters tried to put out the fire but the fire was so big. There were a lot of good people helping in the fires. The firefighters were very brave and even the people helping with traffic. I made this pot because I was feeling really sad for all the people in the fires. I have friends in Victoria and I was worried about them.” Rona Rubuntja
