About
Lloyd and Marjory Rees visited Béziers in Languedoc, southern France, at the end of February 1967 and stayed five days. Rees made a number of drawings from St. Nazaire in Béziers, the basis of his painting 'A tribute to France' 1968-69. While in Béziers, the Reeses visited the Australian artist Fred Jessup, who still lives nearby at Servian.
