19th-century Koori artists

Murruwaygu: following in the footsteps of our ancestors
An introduction to the work of 19th-century Koori artists, including Tommy McRae, a Kwat Kwat man from the central Murray River border of New South Wales and Victoria, and William Barak, a Wurundjuri man from Melbourne. Both these maverick artists worked on the frontier and witnessed first-hand the colonisation of their country.
