Young art collectors: photography

An insight into the world of collecting photography

Photography is a constantly mutating medium, reacting to (and sometime precipitating) changes in art, society, politics and technology.

In this panel discussion we bring together Andrew Cameron, Gallery benefactor and prolific art collector, Judy Annear, the Gallery’s head of photographs and Kon Gouriotis, director Australian Centre for Photography.

Together, our three panelists will share with you their experience of collecting and appreciating photography. In addition, following the panel discussion, we will open the floor for a Q&A session giving you unique access to ask the questions.

If you are passionate about photography, or interested in taking the plunge into art collecting and are keen to learn more about the mechanics of building up an art collection, this is an opportunity that is not-to-be-missed.
