Workshop: Floral embroidery - 3D rose
With Margaret Daszkiewicz
Textile artist and designer Margaret Daszkiewicz will teach you how to embroider three dimensional roses that can be used to embellish garments, bags or any textile. You will be provided with a pattern, fabric, thread and embroidery hoop and instructions on how to do a French knot, bullion stitch, cast on stitch, stem stitch and fishbone stitch and then apply them to create roses and leaves. This is an ideal workshop for anyone with basic experience in hand embroidery and would like to explore working with texture and dimension.
