M. Sunflower is a culturally diverse Australian artist with an Aboriginal (Dharug), Lebanese, Chinese and convict background. She identifies as having a disability. Her interdisciplinary work focuses on photography, collage, painting, drawing, sculpture and craft, exploring concepts of identity, mental health, society, feminism, body positivity, activism, pop culture, the nature of being & the universe itself. Sunny has been part of several programs with Front Up, a disability-led arts and cultural program helping emerging and experienced artists to broaden their career opportunities.
