Suburban symphony BOOKED OUT

Painting urban scenes from Australian life with Peter O’Doherty

Join us for an inspiring day of painting with popular prize-winning artist Peter O’Doherty.

Peter’s distinctive paintings of suburban landscapes and domestic scenes will be the springboard to creating your own interpretations of your local environment. Using photos of your house or somewhere that is special to you, Peter will teach you cropping techniques to get the best compositional values from your images. The day will be spent composing your images then painting your composition onto canvas using acrylic.

  • acrylic paints in colours of your choice
  • range of brushes from thin to thick, including some flat
