Stephen Page on choreographing the past
Hear from the Bangarra Dance Theatre artistic director
Like the artists in the Embodiment exhibition, Stephen Page also gives new form to the past – through dance. Join him in a discussion of his recent work as choreographer of Bangarra’s acclaimed Patyegarang and curator of lore, which premieres in June 2015.
Page will consider the ways that the experiences of ancestors or histories may be given expression or ‘embodied’ through movement, gesture and action.
This event is part of The Sydney Morning Herald Spectrum Now presented by ANZ.
