Razzle Dazzle Orchestra

Performances by Club Weld musicians

Join us for a selection of songs and improvisations by musicians from Club Weld, a supported studio for musicians on the autism spectrum, as they perform at various locations in the Gallery, including the exhibition Mikala Dwyer: a shape of thought.

This performance is part of the Razzle Dazzle Orchestra project, a component of the Datsun 180b collaboration between Information & Cultural Exchange, Parramatta and the Gallery. The two-year project combines visual art and music research, production and performance around the colour-music art and theory of acclaimed Australian artist Roy De Maistre.

This past year, Club Weld musicians have got to know the Gallery, experiencing one-on-one tours and private viewings of artworks, engaging with art specifically curated to resonate with their own lives or interests. This event reflects their experiences and responses so far, ahead of more performances in 2018.
