Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice
A unique celebration of food and opera
Starring Silvia Colloca, this is a sensory and immersive experience featuring the work of florist, artist and academic Dr Lisa Cooper, photo media artist Murray Fredericks and the food of Matt Moran.
Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice has captivated opera lovers the world over but none will have experienced the opera in this way as Silvia Colloca and Matt Moran’s CHISWICK at the Gallery restaurant will collaborate to create a unique celebration of food and opera.
Directed by Shannon Murphy, winner of the InStyle and Audi Style Scholarship for her vision of this opera, Orfeo ed Euridice will unfold as a site-specific performance through the chambers of the Gallery.
Incorporating film and beautiful visual arrangements, Gluck’s three-woman opera will be a dynamic and modern interpretation not to be forgotten as audiences follow Orfeo into the underworld to save Euridice.
