Nora Heysen was the first woman to win the Archibald Prize and the first woman appointed as an official war artist. Join Anne-Louise Willoughby, author of Nora Heysen: A portrait, in conversation with Denise Mimmocchi, senior curator of Australian art at the Art Gallery of NSW as they discuss the life of this remarkable artist with an all-consuming passion to draw and paint.

Nora Heysen: A portrait is the first biography written of the artist and will be available for purchase and signing in the Gallery Shop at the conclusion of this event.
