Joy Yates and Dave MacRae are internationally acclaimed jazz legends with musical careers spanning decades. A jazz/soul singer and teacher, Joy Yates has worked and toured with an incredible array of artists including Van Morrison, Cat Stevens, Chaka Khan, Ronnie Scott and Andrew Lloyd Weber to name just a few. Dave MacRae is a musician, producer and composer who has performed with the likes of Buddy Rich, Chet Baker, Clarke Terry and Cliff Richard and worked as the musical director for the UK TV series, The Goodies.

In a special performance for Art After Hours, Joy Yates and the Dave MacRae Trio will perform a selection of original works mixed with jazz classics, featuring Dave MacRae on keys, Hamish Stuart on drums, Gary Holgate on bass and Joy Yates on vocals.
