Design and create a unique textile flower, taking inspiration from the O’Keeffe, Preston, Cossington Smith: making modernism exhibition.
Contemporary textile artist Margaret Daszkiewicz will teach traditional and modern crochet techniques to create a beautiful individual flower, which can be made into a brooch or a decorative embellishment.
Combine simple crochet methods to create organic shapes with layered textures using jewel-like coloured threads to evoke the beauty of a flower.
Knowledge of basic croquet required. Bring your own crochet hook (between 2mm and 3mm preferred). Thread and patterns provided.
