Artist talk and workshop: Eko Nugroho
Hear from the artist and make a zine
Indonesian artist Eko Nugroho’s vibrant works are inspired by both traditional Javanese culture and global popular culture. The Gallery’s assistant curator of international art, Lisa Catt, speaks to the artist about the ideas behind his work and the extraordinary range of techniques he experiments with across his practice, from embroidery to zine making.
Stick around after the talk to join in a zine-making workshop inside the exhibition, led by Eko.
