Art and dementia: Costume drama
For people living with dementia and their carers
An opportunity for meaningful discussion and active engagement with a selection of artworks on display in the European galleries.
Offered to individuals with their carers as well as groups, this tour is particularly for people living with younger-onset dementia.
It will provide intellectual stimulation and encourage self-expression with an opportunity for participants to articulate their opinions about what they experience.
Part of our regular program of art and dementia events held throughout the year on the third Thursday of the month, with a different focus each month.
Note: 'Art and dementia: Costume drama’ will now take place on 21 July, not 16 June or 15 July as previously advertised. 'Art and dementia: People, place and imagination’ will now take place on 16 June.
