Little Orange Studio artists offer insights into their practice over the course of the evening. Explore the Pandora installation and participate in a range of pop-up events and activities, devised by the Little Orange Studio artists and inspired by Michael Landy’s exhibition design for the 50 years of Kaldor Public Art Projects exhibition. Don’t miss your chance to meet the artists, and take part in an illuminating evening of conversations, performances, micro-poetry workshops, collaborative doodling, tarot readings, and more!
Little Orange Studio is a Campbelltown Arts Centre working studio for contemporary Western Sydney artists who identify with a disability. The studio has been running since 2014 and fosters high quality artistic practice through the provision of materials, mentorships, business training and access to industry professionals. Little Orange is facilitated by Western Sydney contemporary artists David Capra and Julie Finch. Little Orange artists have a broad range of practices spanning drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and performance. The studio provides a platform for establishing artists to develop and launch their career through opportunities within the C-A-C artistic program and community.
2019 Little Orange Studio artists include: Renee Allara, Joel Beers, Richard J Bell, Michelle Brown, Brendalee Coan Jessica Fesic, Peter Gregson, Imogen Jade, Adam Jones, Jessica Pound, Xeni Kusumitra and Sri Thulin.
