Fall into the hauntingly beautiful sounds of ‘Midnight sun’, a piano composition by Heather Shannon inspired by the long nights of sunshine in Icelandic summer.

Performed under lights in a space that sits outside of time – the temporarily closed Art Gallery of New South Wales – this piece lives in concert with another artwork of evening: ‘Nocturne 3 (departing nocturne)’ by Kamrooz Aram.
