Sam Clifford Social rubbish: a self portrait

Everyone today seems to be more concerned with the image than the picture. My body of work explores how humans are so quick to post their best moments for others to see online, while without a second thought they dump their worst belongings in the front of their houses for everyone to see. These two actions seem to highlight the priorities that exist for many within our society. I found it very interesting to walk past the many little rubbish mounds in different areas of Sydney to observe what we throw out.
