Tyler Neville-Ross Colour and form in liminal space
Liminal space: the physical space between one destination and the next. In my body of work I used diagonal lines, flattened picture planes and geometric forms to create works that are visually tense and chromatically harmonious. Each work is a starting point where questions are asked and visual problems are posed, to be solved in the next work. I have explored colour, form, line, shape and negative space to produce compositions that challenge while considering aesthetics. Each work has its own stylistic motif, but as a body of work the viewer can understand my process and how the elements cohere.
