Anna Sanders For contemplation
We can see contemplation as a form of private devotion and mystical awareness: contemplation as an act of deep revered thought. These vignettes explore the intersection between religion and the digital realm, blurring the separation between the two. Each moment captures a cryptic message and re-contextualises the universal comprehension of a typical symbol. These separate, intangible images are landscapes representing society’s values, our ways of life and modern thought. I invite the viewer to bring clarity to the works by applying their own personal meaning to these moments of contemplation.
