My body of work explores connectedness, and how everything in the world is linked. On one hand we have evolved in conjunction with nature and other animals. On a cellular level we are connected to all living things. Modern society creates a sense of alienation and separateness from this aspect of life. Urban living isolates us from nature and our environment, but also connects us to other people in an unprecedented way. We are simultaneously disconnected from nature and superficially linked to millions through social media, commerce and globalisation.
