My work is a visual depiction of the relationship between the conflicting worlds of nature, society, and the individual. The rampant advancement of our current society, manipulated by overwhelming consumerist ideals and the expanding realm of the digital, has resulted in relationship decay and denser cities. The force of nature has been challenged to survive and attempt to reconquer its original place within the world. The individual becomes uncomfortably caught up within the conflict and begins to lose what is known as ‘identity’.
