My title is inspired by the word ‘casa’, meaning home, as all the images have been produced using visions of my house, while ‘obscura’ refers to the process of camera obscura. Within my work I have explored the use of light and the images it can produce in its surrounding environment. Using a portable tent I captured a range of angles and views of my house, reflecting light by using a mirror on top of the tent to produce images on the ground. This allowed the surface of the ground to be a part of the final image.
