Oscar Morphew The dark room

Work by Oscar Morphew

My artwork examines the way in which technology has such a hold on our society that, when we are stripped of it, we are unable to cope and are crippled in some way. It also explores what it is to have free will, the nature of isolation and the working of the subconscious mind. I have drawn upon several other films that have inspired me, such as 2001: a space odyssey, Alien and Poltergeist.
