Estelle Felix Whimsical lunacy

Work by Estelle Felix

Whimsical lunacy was created in a state of subconsciousness: an absurd dwelling bordering between reality and the surreal. Inspired by surrealists such as Salvador Dalí and Yayoi Kusama, I am exploring the ever-flowing stream of the subconscious mind, through purely aesthetic works expressing little to no meaning except for the one the audience may decide to associate them with – be it love, naivety, nonsense or just plain madness. Subjectively, the ambiguity of my artworks pushes one to engage with my illogical thoughts, only to activate their own subconscious minds as they journey to the wondrous place of ‘Whimsical lunacy’.
