Jessica Yau Fong Beryllium - one

Fairy tales are often regarded as timeless, having been passed down and entertained generations. Yet there are many variations of fairy tales, as even today, people are adding their own twists and changing the stories. Mine is merely another transformation: a loose retelling of the Three Little Pigs. It is presented in my favourite art form of manga – a graphic novel – as I have always wanted to create one and because the medium seems somewhat unconventional. While difficult at times, creating it was an enjoyable and educational experience: my first step towards becoming a true manga artist.
