It’s Archibald Prize time at the Gallery. To kick off our Art After Hours celebrity talk series, and in keeping with tradition, tonight we have the wonderful Margaret Throsby interviewing the 2014 winner, Fiona Lowry and her subject Penelope Seidler. To further celebrate all things ‘portraiture’, we’ll begin our series of short talks. Tonight hear the story behind the 17th-century portrait of ‘the winter queen’ currently on loan from London’s National Portrait Gallery. And to get us well and truly in the party mood, the Green Mohair Suits will perform live while the pop-up bar will entice with delicious new food and beverage offerings.
