The Members Lounge and facilities are available for use by Art Gallery of New South Wales (AGNSW) members during AGNSW opening hours.
Members must scan a valid membership card to enter the Members Lounge.
Members are permitted to bring one (1) additional guest into the Lounge. Joint members can bring two (2) guests into the Lounge. Premium Members are permitted to bring three (3) guests. Guests of members will be issued a guest pass for the Lounge and must retain this card while they are using the Lounge. Members are responsible for the behaviour of their guests.
Members and guests must vacate the Members Lounge 15 minutes prior to AGNSW closing time. The last admittance to the Members Lounge is 30 minutes prior to AGNSW closing time.
Members and guests must exit AGNSW via the front door of the building prior to closing time.
Members Lounge opening and closing times are subject to change without notice.
The advertised price of food and beverages in the Lounge is the ‘members price’. Further discounts do not apply unless otherwise indicated.
While in the Lounge members and guests can only consume food or beverages purchased from the Members Lounge cafe.
Specified events held in the Lounge or AGNSW theatres may include a tea and coffee offering. This service is only available to ticket holders of these events.
Members and guests are not permitted to remove any items from the Lounge.
Members and guests must respect each other and staff. Aggressive behaviour (verbal or physical) will not be tolerated.
Members and guests are requested to observe AGNSW protocols regarding artworks in the Lounge.
Persons behaving in an unacceptable manner will be asked to leave the premises and their membership may be cancelled.
Members Lounge reception staff are not authorised to refund payments.
The Members Lounge is not available for use for private parties or group activities without pre-arranged permission from the Art Gallery Society of New South Wales (AGS).
The Members Lounge and Garden is included in the on-premises liquor licence of AGNSW. Members and guests must observe all directives and conditions stipulated in this licence.
All visitors must follow directions from AGNSW staff. Members may be asked to leave the Members Lounge at any time by AGS staff should they not respect the members terms and conditions of entry and use policy.
Small business meetings are permitted but must be informal and discreet in order not to disturb other guests.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Large bags are not permitted in the Members Lounge and must be cloaked in the AGNSW cloak room.
