VisAsia

The VisAsia Council was established by the Gallery in 2001 in recognition of Australia's growing involvement with the cultures of Asia and was designed to provide company executives with a personal association with the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

The VisAsia Council assists the Gallery with its commitment to promote and cultivate a better understanding and enjoyment of Asian art and culture. Funds raised through membership fees are devoted exclusively to the sponsorship of Asian exhibitions, publications and education programs. Membership is restricted to Chief Executives, Chairmen and individual business leaders and is by invitation only.
