A NEW LIGHT ON ASIAN ART

The largest and most beautiful galleries of the arts of Asia in Australia are now displayed in a new building that floats like a luminous lantern.

The new Asian galleries encompass the original Asian gallery opposite the café and the pearly white, glass and steel cube, designed by architect Richard Johnson. The galleries will allow, for the first time, almost all of the Asian collection to be shown.
