The Gallery has created an historical database of the entrants and winners of the following prizes:
- Archibald Prize
- Wynne Prize
- Sir John Sulman Prize
- Dobell Prize for Drawing
- Australian Photographic Portrait Prize
It contains references to every exhibited work for each of these competitions.
