Amy Lim My father

My father, a doctor, who tirelessly worked long hours through the pandemic. He has been unable to take a holiday for the past three years. I noticed how much he has aged, so I reflected this in my drawing of him, depicting his greying hair and his newly formed lines. He is a kind and loving dad; I captured the warmth in his smile and bright eyes. I admire the determination and perseverance he has for his job, so I made him pose for his portrait wearing his stethoscope. I hope my father soon takes a long break and rests.
