Fergus Fung Asking Mr Timmins

This is dedicated to the Timmins family. Mr Timmins was my orchestra conductor, our school’s music coordinator, a teacher and much more. This portrait depicts a vivid memory of him – I had rushed to his office with friends at the start of a lunch break to ask for permission to use a band room for music practice. He would always greet us with a face lit with enthusiasm, surrounded by numerous instruments, including the euphonium he played. Always eager to help, always telling jokes, always spreading his infectious smile.
