W B McInnes Professor Harrison Moore

This 1922 Archibald Prize winning portrait by WB McInnes of constitutional lawyer and dean of the law faculty at the University of Melbourne, William Harrison Moore (1867–1935), was destroyed in the fire that engulfed Wilson Hall at the University of Melbourne in January 1952. The artist’s Archibald Prize portraits of Professor Sir Thomas Lyle (1922) and Professor David Masson (1923) were also destroyed in the fire.
