TRAVEL WITH FRIENDS IN 2008

Travelling with the Art Gallery Society offers so much more than simply an art tour overseas. Our tours for 2008 are carefully designed around members’ cultural interests and led by Gallery curators and educators, providing a fuller, richer and more meaningful travel experience.

Dr Christopher Hartney, lecturer of the Gallery’s Ages of Islam series, discovers the legacy of Islamic civilisation in Morocco and Andalucia; while popular lecturer Jim Masselos uncovers the glories of western and central India.

Western and central Europe feature strongly too. Neil Moore opens his home in central Italy. Terence Maloon journeys through Medieval France. And Liz Gibson discovers the jewels of the Adriatic including Venice, Slovenia and Croatia.
