Reference librarians are available to assist with research and to answer telephone enquiries during opening hours. Enquiries may also be sent by letter, fax or using the email Reference Enquiry Form provided.

The Library's collection is included on the National Bibliographic Database, which can be accessed through most Australian public and academic libraries.

All Library resources must be used on-site. The Library does not lend to the public or issue inter-library loans.

The Reading Room can accommodate thirty researchers. Limited facilities are available for the use of audiotapes and videos. Charges for photocopies are 20¢ (A4) and 30¢ (A3) for black-and-white copies and $4.00 (A4) and $5.00 (A3) for colour, plus GST.

Library tours and instruction in the use of its resources are available by appointment.
