Location
Lower Level 1 - accessible via the marble staircase in the European 19th Century galleries.

Hours
Open to the public Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm and late on Wednesday evenings until 8.30pm.
(Closed on public holidays and during the Christmas/New Year period.)

The Archive is open to the public during Library opening hours by appointment.

The Research Library and Archive will be closed from Monday 13 July 2009 for important building work, and will reopen on Monday 24 August 2009. The Art Gallery of NSW apologises for any inconvenience.
