My work is intended to encapsulate the journey of an individual with bipolar. The erratic incalculable journey of an individual consumed by the parasitical attachment of bipolar in a world of perpetual fluctuation. Heightening one’s mood, collapsing and deteriorating; they fly into states of euphoria to find their elation corroding, a collapsed and fragmented psyche fuelled by insecurities. In 2010 my family and I lost someone who was struggling with bipolar. An erratic journey is influenced by this event and my attempt to acknowledge the struggles the individual had.
