My work explores the micro-relationships within extended friendship groups. The faces struggle to emerge from behind the hand-drawn doodles. My work reflects on how deep connections between two people can fracture larger groups and reminds us how relationships grow, change and evolve around us. I created the images through the manipulation of image transfers, pastel and ink, that I digitised and combined with hand drawings.
