Through the exploration of my own heritage, my work investigates issues of identity and the combination of modern and past generations, leading to the concept of 'east meets west’. I worked with materials that could achieve the delicacy of Asian art. The scrolls let me explore my past, and photography explored the present; the ceramics unified my work.
