The contemporary galleries will reopen in May with new displays from the Gallery’s comprehensive collection of international and Australian contemporary art.
Within these magnificent rooms, you’ll find key names in art history, such as Picasso, Bacon, Van Gogh, Bronzino, Burne-Jones, Canaletto, Claude, Constable, Delacroix, Lord Leighton, Reynolds and Rubens, among others.
The modern gallery will reopen in April with a display of works by Henri Matisse and other major European modernist artists.
The photography gallery will reopen in April with an exhibition of photographs of women by women, from the Gallery’s collection.
