The Mass Psychology of Fascism,

A collaborative video installation by Mike Parr and Adam Geczy. Parr is Australia's foremost performance artist and Geczy is a new media artist whose work was included in the exhibition BODY at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. The installation reworks Parr's face sewing performance, Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi, with specially constructed soundtracks and piles of newspapers. It looks at the media as an inexorable pulse of sensationalism that leads either to desensitised apathy or xenophobic hysteria.
