JACK GLATZER Paganini Caprices Friday 24 October American violinist Jack Glatzer’s distinguished musical career has seen him play in some of the world’s most prestigious venues in over 40 countries. Jack is renowned for his children’s education programs and his work with many composers including Australia’s Peter Sculthorpe and Dulcie Holland. In his first Resonate concert Jack will perform Paganini’s masterpiece 24 Caprices, a work that requires the utmost in virtuosic skill. The concert will be preceded by a champagne reception and private viewing of the Buddhist Sculpture from Qingzhou Temple exhibition. Doors open at 7pm. Seating commences at 7.45pm.

ROMANZA Stylus Phantasticus Friday 21 November ‘Stylus Phantasticus’ is a style of early Baroque music originating in Italy, which then became popular in the northern Germanic countries and ultimately heavily influenced Johann Sebastian Bach. In this concert, harpsichordist Neal Peres da Costa, and cellist Danny Yeadon, and their ensemble Romanza, present the ‘Fantastic Style’ with music of great beauty by Buxtehude, Biber, Schmelzer, Muffat and J.S. Bach. The concert will be preceded by a champagne reception and private viewing of The World of Claude Monet exhibition. Doors open at 7pm. Seating commences at 7.45pm.
